How do I connect my financial accounts to Brillian?

Step-by-step guide for business owners on how to provide financial data to Brillian during onboarding.

Brillian needs access to your business's financial data to produce your valuation. There are two ways to provide it: connecting your QuickBooks Online account directly, or uploading financial documents manually.

Option 1: Connect QuickBooks

If your business uses QuickBooks Online, you can connect it directly to Brillian during onboarding. You'll be prompted to authorize the connection, which allows Brillian to pull your financial data automatically. This is the fastest path to completing your valuation.

Option 2: Upload financial documents

If you don't use QuickBooks, you can upload your financial statements directly to your Brillian account. The most accurate results require 3–5 years of financial history, including income statements (profit and loss) and balance sheets.

Where to do this

Both options are available during the onboarding flow after you create your account. You can also connect QuickBooks at any time on the Settings tab of your business dashboard, or upload financials to the Documents tab.

What about security?

Your financial data is transmitted and stored using bank-grade encryption. For more details on how Brillian protects your information, see Where is my data stored and is it safe?
